Paulo C. DE MORAIS, PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology– China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010. 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008 member of the European ERA-NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held a two-year (1987-1988) post-doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA, and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is a member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as a referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals, and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He has delivered 170 Invited Talks all over the World. He is known for his research in the preparation, characterization, and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With about500 published papers in peer-reviewed journals, more than12,500 citations, and 16 patents, he has appeared in recent World rankings of top scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, 2023-AD Scientific Index, and 2023-Research.com.

My name is Dan Dobrota, a Professor at Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Machine Building Technology (1994) from the University of Craiova, Romania. I received my Ph.D. in the Technology of Materials field from the University of Craiova, Romania, in 1998. Also, I obtained another undergraduate degree in Finance and Assurance, at Constantin Brancusi University of Targu Jiu, Romania (2004). In the year 2013, I supported the habilitation thesis at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest in the Industrial Engineering domain. I was promoted to Full Professor in 2007. I have published over 137 scientific articles, among which over 84 in international journals indexed Web of Science. I am a reviewer for 52 Web of Science indexed journals (Journal of Cleaner Production, Materials, Polymers, etc.), 55 of which are rated Q1. I am the author of 32 books, one of which is published by the international publishing house LAMBERT. I was editor of the special volume “Design of Welded Steel Structures” of the journal Metals indexed Web of Science and now, of the special volume of the journal ”Materials” entitled “Ecodesign for Composite Materials and Products” (classified Q1).

Dr. Mihail Lucian Birsa is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. In 2003 he was selected as a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working with Professor Henning Hopf in TU Braunschweig - Germany. Since then numerous return fellowships were granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He has more than 125 publications in peer-reviewed journals and published +45 books/book chapters (John Wiley & Sons, Thieme, etc). Also, is an editorial board member in more than 50 journals such as Applied Sciences, Arkivoc, BioChem, Edelweiss Chemical Science Journal, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design, Journal of Fine Chemical Engineering, Modern Approaches in Drug Designing, Pharmaceutical Toxicology.

Dr. Laura Gabriela SARBU is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. She received a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2015. During the Ph.D. program, she joined several times Prof. Dr. Henning Hopf's research team at TU Braunschweig – Germany. She has more than 45 publications in peer-reviewed journals and published 4 books. Also, is editorial board member in 25+ journals such as Advance in Medical and Clinical Research, Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Recerca, Chemical Glycobiology Journal, International Journal Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences - Green Chemistry, Journal of Molecular Biology and Drug Design.
